LOCATION: Zoom (this is an online event. A link will be sent the day before the event)
SUPPLIES LIST AND REFERENCE PHOTO: will be e-mailed to registered participants (please add our e-mail to your address book to make sure our messages reach you)
MEDIUM: Acrylics (house paint!)
REQUIREMENTS: You need to have Zoom downloaded on your computer. Use a computer or laptop to join the meeting. We do not recommend joining this meeting from your phone. Good Internet connection/wifi is recommended.
DEMO DESCRIPTION
In this online painting demonstration a thrifty mother of two under 4 years old will make daily painting feel exciting, do able and cost-effective! Teddi will be live with all of us on a zoom meeting walking us through her painting process. While Teddi will be live, the demonstration will be previously recorded exclusively for Painting Miles, to hopefully avoid the glitches that can occur during live online events. You will be able to see her palette at the same time you’ll see Teddi creating a new painting!
Teddi will also answer live all those burning questions that come up during her demonstration.
A reference photo of the still life used for this demonstration and a supplies list will be sent to all registered participants so you can paint along or after watching the demonstration, if you want to!
BIO
Teddi Parker is a self taught artist living in Fort Collins, Colorado. She’s always had the creative itch and finally jumped on the daily painting bandwagon in 2014 after discovering Carol Marine and falling in love with the bold and loose brushstroke style. By reading artist blogs, color theory books, and implementing a daily habit of painting Teddi was able to get her own nature to come out and enjoy the process of painting again. She also has a heart to make original art affordable for the average Joe and encourage others who may doubt whether they can fit painting into their daily lives as well.
